True Light Christian School True Light Christian School was founded in 1987 as an independent, non-denominational K-8 school. In 2010, True Light opened a new Preschool.

True Light Christian School equips children to excel in a life that is pleasing to God by accepting the authority of God’s Word, demonstrating Christ-like character, developing their academic potential, and identifying their God-given gifts. True Light educates students from a Biblical world view with special emphasis on character development and moral values. Our school families represent multiple Christian churches from Marshall and surrounding communities.

Spiritual Emphasis Week really started our school year on a positive note. Thanks to the fantastic speakers and worship leaders who shared their gifts with us this week! The worship time and messages were powerful!

Mr. Oglesby kicked off our Spiritual Emphasis theme on Monday. On Tuesday Andrew Lundstrom shared how Jesus is our Savior. He gave a wonderful summary of the gospel message. On Wednesday Jenny Greenhoff shared how Jesus was her helper during her cancer journey. The kids were enthralled by her real-life story. On Thursday Cooper & Caedyn Martens shared the difference between a cow and an ox. Jesus is like an ox. Please ask your true light student that is the case. The Martens family brought some friends from SMSU who talked about how we can serve like Jesus. Friday, Johnny (Mr. Oglesby) visited and Miss Kinny helped him learn how to be brave, courageous, and how to stand for Jesus.

Thank you to those who volunteered to lead worship! Living Word team, E-Free team, Brian Knochenmus, and Sheri Sternke.

Our prayer is each student learned something new each day and carries that with them through their school year.
