We're a few days late for International Stage Management Day - but that in no way diminishes how much we appreciate our stage management team for Come From Away! You can see them at their posts in the foreground of this photo, L to R - Jorgia Worden, assistant stage manager; Olivia Houseman, production stage manager; and Ethan Johnson, assistant stage manager. You won't see them when you come see the show Oct. 28-Nov. 1, but they'll be hard at work behind the scenes, literally making sure everything happens as it should!

Meet Stephen Markley, one of the writer/creators of Hulu's Only Murders in the Building with Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short. Markley, a graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop, has appeared on the Late Show with Seth Meyers; his sci-fi novel The Deluge earned rave reviews from writers like Stephen King. How does he balance it all? How do you get into writing for the screen? Come ask Markley that and more! He'll be here via the magic of Zoom, Tues. Oct. 6 at noon in the Black Box (FA 112). Copresented by the Creative Writing and Entertainment and Theatre Arts Programs.
