Lynn Calhoun for EFISD School Board

EF community parade is tomorrow at 5. Starts at the elementary school and ends at the high school. Y’all be sure to come out and catch some color changing cups and candy.

My name is Lynn Calhoun and I am excited to announce I will be running for seat 6 of the Elysian Fields ISD school board. I would like to bring transparency from the school board to parents, students, and tax payers. I believe we should all know what is occurring behind the scenes and have a voice in the decisions being made in the district.

I was born and raised in Elysian Fields to Dave and Ginger Calhoun. I have been married to Morgan Calhoun for seven years and together we have two children. Noah is in the first grade and Nash will start kindergarten at EF in 2025. We attend New Hebron Baptist Church.

I graduated from Elysian Fields in 2007 and took on a career in the oil and gas industry. I am now the owner of multiple oil and gas service companies and manage them on a daily basis.

I believe I can help EFISD with my management skills and knowledge of budgeting. I am here to speak up for all of EFISD employees best interest. I want to ensure we can keep and improve the wonderful staff we currently have. I would greatly appreciate your vote in this election. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Go Jackets!
