So excited for this announcement! Pete Thomas is now tutoring! We are now Team Thomas Tutoring! Pete is certified in K-12 Special Education and 6-8 English Language Arts. He is currently the Behavior Specialist for Madison County Schools and has 28+ years experience working with students with Special needs, Autism, ADHD, and diverse behavior needs.

(Don't worry we're both still working for MCS. This is a side journey. It is not associated with MCS.)

Hi! I'm Anna Thomas and I offer Tutoring Services in all subject areas for ages Birth-6th grade. Every session is customized and personalized to your child's needs. I can do individual, pairs or small groups. I have been teaching for almost 30 years and I have experience teaching children with a variety of learning styles and developmental needs. I offer Tutoring, school readiness, Kindergarten readiness, home-school support, behavioral and family support services to families with Birth- Elementary age children. I also help students with public speaking and interview prep for school projects, pageants, career or confidence building. I can do online and/or in-person sessions. I am a North Carolina Teacher certified in Birth-Kindergarten and K-6 education and I have been teaching for 28+ years. I have experience teaching children with a variety of learning styles and developmental needs. I feel that a strong foundation in the early years is important for academic success. I am trained in LETRS and Science of Reading and am National Board Certified. I look forward to working with children and families to help them achieve their 2026 goals. I am currently taking new clients to start right away and finish the school year strong. I am also starting a summer sign up list. Please comment or message me to ask questions or schedule a session. One of the things I love about teaching is watching my students learn to read. They start out with almost no letter knowledge and over time they gradually aquire skills until finally they are reading. They are so proud of themselves and they are so excited for learning. Reading is truly a doorway to opportunity.
