Due to the current economic climate and long-term recovery from Hurricane Helene, we’re experiencing ticket sales that are MUCH lower than expected. We’re doing our best to adjust and cut costs as much as possible without compromising the quality of the event; but at this point, we can’t continue without your help.
We’re all feeling the economic squeeze, but the skills and wisdom that we offer have never been more necessary to learn and share than they are now. We have the same stellar line up of classes, dancing, singing and connection that we always do and we want to make it possible for you to join in on the fun.
Next year, we’ll be celebrating 20 years of Firefly!!! Remember, no offer is too small – even $5. We humbly seek mutual aid from our vast network of creatives, so we can continue to empower people, enrich lives and build community for another 20 years. We need $25K just to pay for the venue and rentals for this year’s gathering, and an additional $50K to be at pre-Helene levels; if 1,000 folks donate $50, that will keep us going.
