The countdown is on! 2 days to go until Open House!
At Archbishop Shaw High School, students are organized into four distinct households, each named after a saint whose life reflects the virtues at the heart of the Salesian educational philosophy. These households—Acutis, Savio, de Sales, and Frassati—provide more than just a framework for school spirit; they create opportunities for students to grow spiritually, academically, and socially within a supportive and faith-filled community.
Each household at Archbishop Shaw is a community where students grow in faith, build lifelong friendships, and strengthen their sense of brotherhood. It’s a brotherhood within the brotherhood—where students support one another, serve together, and deepen their understanding of what it means to live as young men of faith and purpose. Through shared experiences, service projects, competitions, and spiritual formation, students learn to embody the virtues of their household saints—faith, integrity, humility, compassion, and joy. This structure not only enriches campus life but also builds bonds that last long after graduation.
Once an Acutis, Savio, de Sales, or Frassati Eagle, always one for life—because at Shaw, brotherhood and faith grow together and stay with you forever.
