🎶 The Spirit flowed from Mass into recess today! 🎶

Today, something beautiful flowed over from our time together at Mass and into recess. Our 7th graders gathered together on their own, lifting up their voices in praise and worship songs! It was a moment that could NOT be passed up!

Seeing our students choose to continue worshiping, singing, and sharing their faith beyond the walls of the church is such a beautiful reminder that faith is not just something we practice - it is something we live, and our faith can overflow into every part of our day!

Our PreK•4 students had a sweet time learning all about the letter A this week! After exploring apples with their five senses - discussing how they feel, smell, taste, look, and even sound - our little learners followed a recipe to make their very own delicious applesauce in a crockpot! 🍎 🍏🍎

🔬 Learning Through Discovery! 🔬

Our 3rd graders have been busy exploring the exciting world of forces and motion! Through reading, vocabulary practice, and hands-on investigations, they are building an understanding of how different forces can change the motion of objects.

From testing how the height of a ramp affects the distance a toy car travels to sorting examples of forces that make objects move or slow down, students are learning science by doing! They also observed the force of gravity in action as they watched how it pulls a ball toward Earth.

Learning Through Little Hands!

Our PreK 1 & PreK 2 friends are learning, exploring, and having so much fun through hands-on activities! From squeezing, pinching, threading, and creating to painting and manipulating different materials, every activity gives our little learners a chance to strengthen those important fine motor skills, all building confidence, and independence!

Our little ones are developing coordination, creativity, problem-solving skills, and so much more all while, enjoying the process of having fun with their friends!!

🎉 What a night at Back to School BINGO! 🎉

We had a packed house last night, and our gym was filled with laughter, excitement, and plenty of “BINGO!” calls!

Families and friends came together to kick off the new school year with a night of fun, friendly competition, and lots of lucky winners! From the first game, the 50/50 bingo pots, to the blackout prize, the excitement never stopped!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out and supported Visitation of Our Lady! Your continued support means so much to our school community. A HUGE thank you to everyone who volunteered their time to help make this night such a success!!

We are so grateful for nights like these that bring our VOL family together. What a fantastic way to start the school year!

Today’s the day! Please remember this is a cash event (we do not have an ATM). The gate between the church parking lot and gym parking lot will be open for when the gym parking lot fills up. You can park in the church parking lot and walk through. Concessions and sweets will also be sold. We can’t wait for a fun night!
