📢 Marquette-Alger RESA Represented in Washington, D.C.

Marquette-Alger RESA is proud to share that Chief Technology Officer James Wallington was selected to serve as a delegate to the USA Artificial Intelligence Summit in Washington, D.C., and also attended U.S. Senate hearings on the future of K-12 education in the age of artificial intelligence.

In the nation's capital, James joined policymakers, federal and state leaders, industry experts, and researchers for high-level discussions on the future of AI in America. He shared Marquette-Alger RESA's work on software projects, advocated for strong state oversight and enforcement of cybersecurity standards, and connected with the office of U.S. Senator Gary Peters.

Throughout both events, James carried one priority: ensuring the voices of students, educators, and rural communities are part of the national conversation on AI policy. This participation reflects Marquette-Alger RESA's growing role as a leader in responsible AI for public education.

Our staff spent yesterday volunteering with Bay Cliff Health Camp and Adopt A Highway Litter Removal Service of America! 🌟

At Bay Cliff, teams cleaned windows, tackled landscaping, stacked wood, painted, and helped with laundry and linens. Out on the roads, another team pitched in to keep our community clean along our Adopt-A-Highway route.

What a great way to celebrate teamwork and community spirit by giving back to the place we call home! ❤️
