The program takes viewers across America to talk with individuals whose lives and livelihood have been directly affected by corporate welfare.

Greetings,
One benefit of the current situation is the increased availability of professional development opportunities on-line. I am sharing with you today, the offerings of the Foundation for Teaching Economics. I'm providing the link where you can see what's available and how to register. For example, a course that we have brought to the UP in the past, Fundamentals of Environmental Economics, is being offered in early November. Attending the course provides a $200 stipend.

Also, many organizations have increased their inventory of teaching materials. The first link below provides materials that correspond to the content standards developed by the Council for Economic Education that most states (including Michigan) follow.

The Marginal Revolution University website from renowned economists Cowen and Tabarrok include now a HS section with plenty of materials.

Finally, the Foundation for Economic Education has launched a program called FEE in the classroom ("Bring Top College Professors to your School").

Hope this information is of help to you in these difficult times. Please share with others that could benefit from it.
