Music for All Kids extend our sincere thanks to Dan Truckey, whose dedication and hard work were the backbone of the “Michigan Rocks” benefit concert for MFAK, also known as the Marquette Rockestra! Dan meticulously coordinated rehearsals for all the musicians, developed an engaging set list with collaborative input, and showcased his talents on both saxophone and guitar during the performances. Alongside his performance, his attention to logistical details ensured that the event ran seamlessly, creating an unforgettable experience for all.

Music for All Kids (MFAK) is grateful and excited to be the beneficiary of this year's Marquette Rockestra. MFAK wants to thank, in advance, the thirty plus local musicians and tech crew who have been working so hard to bring you this spectacular concert.

By attending this awesome event on June 6 or 7 at Forest Robert's Theater, you will help support our mission to inspire at risk students and teens in recovery through personalized, hands on music instruction and mentorship.
We currently provide free music instruction in three locations:
the Marquette Alternative High School (MAHS),
the Great Lakes Recovery Center (GLRC) Adolescent Treatment Unit and the Lake Superior Village Summer Day Program.
