Mr. Young - Principal

Hey friends! On Sunday, a friend and I will join Tour Da Yoop, Eh - TDY on four of the 10 legs as we bike around the U.P. Our ride will start in Iron Mountain and finish in Marquette. We’ll travel through Ironwood, Houghton, and the Copper County before returning home. (Around 480 miles in four days) This ride will raise funds to aide families in the Upper Peninsula in their fight against childhood cancer.

Thank you to the faculty, staff, and students of Marquette Senior High School. It has been an absolute pleasure to serve you as principal of MSHS over the past nine years. (8 as principal, 1 AP) Students, you are my why. The reason I love working in education and the reason I will truly miss working at MSHS. Thank you for being awesome! I have accepted a position at Marquette-Alger RESA as the Director of MTSS. I am sad to leave MSHS but excited to start this new position so that I can support more students' success. These pictures share just a few of the amazing memories I have from my time here. Thank you to the faculty, staff, and students for making MSHS a great place to work and learn. Congratulations to MSHS Band Director, Matt Ludwig, on being published this week! Dr. Ludwig has authored a book on learning to play the trumpet. Very excited to see this success for Dr. Ludwig! Grateful for all the MSHS students he's shared his talents with over the years. Great job, Dr. Ludwig!
