Ms. Grace is installing the art for the Jurassic Art Show! MQT kids are so amazingly creative! The Jurassic Art Reception is Tuesday August 4 from 3-6pm. Bring your family and friends and come view your kiddos' artwork at the library. ❤️👩🏻‍🎨🎨

The 3rd and final Bookfair of Summer Reading 2026 is tomorrow and Saturday! Friday July 31 (10am-5pm) & Saturday August 1 (10am-4pm).
Reader Hall of Fame MUST turn in their logs by 4pm August 1.
Don't forget your reading logs!
If you miss this final book fair, stop by the library anytime before Labor Day and kids can choose any books that they missed - but don't forget your reading logs!

Hi families. FYI that the play area will be temporarily closed as we clean up the water and dry the carpeting out. Quite the rainfall we just had! Thank you to our building manager extraordinaire John for jumping into action!
It will be closed for the rest of today (Thursday July 30). We will find out about tomorrow tomorrow :) The rest of the kids room is open and ready for you.

Bubble bubble splash starts in 35 MINUTES!!;

Hi families!! The weather is so far looking good for Bubble, Bubble, Splash tomorrow!! (7/29/26, 2-4pm). Remember that kids will get wet - suits, towels and sunscreen are HIGHLY recommended. Woo!!! 🫧🫧🫧

Mark your calendars for this years Bubble, Bubble, Splash! 🫧

🗓 Wednesday, July 29 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. on the Library's Front Street Steps and Lawn.

There will be sprinklers, toy car wash, BUBBLES, water play and more! ✨For youth of all ages. Towels and swimsuits are recommended.

Hi Storytime Friends -- Between the weather forecast and the unpredictable air quality levels, Miss Sarah is making the call now about Tuesday Park Storytime. It will be held INDOORS at the Library. Storytime will start shortly after 9:30am, as that is the time the library doors open.

Hi Storytime Friends - The air quality is definitely not cooperating for an outdoor storytime!
Thursday 7/16/26, Park Storytime will be held at the indoor location in the Lake Superior Village Youth and Family Center at 1901 Longyear Ave. All are welcome!
