In their kindergarten classroom at Woodland Elementary School in Breitung Township Schools, Apprentice Teacher (ATC) Nicole Adams (left) and Mentor Teacher (MeT) Kylie Aranda (right) have bonded like “long lost siblings” in less than a month!

Nicole shares that every day is filled with “laughs and learning,” while Kylie says Nicole brings “kindness, laughter, good ideas, and positive energy” to the classroom. Together, they’re creating a supportive environment where both students and educators can grow! 🍎

🍎 Meet Bryant Boulton, a middle school special education teacher at Bessemer Area Schools within Gogebic-Ontonagon ISD!

Bryant began his Talent Together journey in fall 2024 and will graduate with his master’s degree in Special Education at the end of October 2026. With three years of experience in special education, he supports students in grades 7–9 as they build their skills, confidence, and independence.

Bryant plans to continue growing in special education and helping students succeed in the classroom and beyond.

In 2025–26, Talent Together apprentices hired as certified teachers saw an average 101% salary increase when moving from paraprofessional to certified teacher roles.

By supporting current school staff on their path to teacher certification, Talent Together is helping grow Michigan’s educator workforce while creating new career opportunities. 💚

As she begins her third year teaching kindergarten at Public Schools, Talent Together alumna Jasmina Toceva Dimitrieska continues to grow as an educator while helping her students build confidence, independence, and a love of learning.

From building strong relationships with students and families to introducing collaborative learning through Building Thinking Classrooms, Jasmina is creating a classroom where young learners feel supported, engaged, and excited to learn. 💚
