Look what we got in the mail!
We got a postcard home from Ryan (& her little Kenzie) from a medical brigade in Athens, Greece!

From Ryan

“During my time in Athens, I worked at Sama, a facility for refugees. During my time, I assisted Dentists in extractions and fillings. I spent two days in triage, where I leaned hands on skills such as taking blood glucose.
I also spent a day in our workshop for children, where I played games and taught them about emotional wellbeing. Outside of clinic, we spent time touring Athens. We saw the Acropolis, the Olympic stadium, gardens, etc. As the secretary of this trip, it was so rewarding to see the fruits of my labor paid off. And I had an amazing time spending time with my colleagues and learning what it takes to be a great physician.”

Meet Chloe!

“I joined Alpha Gamma Delta during my second semester at NMU because I wanted to step outside my comfort zone, meet new people, and find a sense of belonging. Although I had never considered joining Greek life, receiving a message from one of the girls encouraged me to give it a chance. From my very first coffee date, I knew Alpha Gam was where I belonged. The women in this chapter have become my chosen family, supporting me through every step of my college journey and I couldn’t be more blessed to have them. Alpha Gam has helped me grow into a more confident and outgoing person, and joining this sisterhood has been one of the best decisions I have made at NMU.” - Chloe

INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION 2026🌹

📍Phoenix, AZ 🌵

This biennium, VP Member Development Johanna and Chapter Advisor Kat had the incredible opportunity to visit International Convention in Phoenix! They learned about leadership, relationships, and mental health management through a variety of educational sessions. Additionally, they had the privilege of voting on three new resolutions.

They met Alpha Gam sisters from chapters in different parts of the world! Convention was truly an amazing experience, and we can’t wait for Miami in 2028!

We are celebrating our sister Paige as she leaves NMU and continues her academic career at Wayne State University. Thank you so much Paige for everything you have done for our chapter.❤️
“Hey! My name is Paige! I am a Psychology major with cognitive & behavioral concentration. After graduation, I’ll be attending Wayne State University for a PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. While in AGD I was VP of Academic Excellence and VP of member experience! I will always be grateful for gam because of all of the girls I meet and memories I made. Overall some of my favorite memories at NMU were spent at the beach, with friends, or conducting research!”
