Time for Change: MSHS Needs A New Nickname

MSHS now *has* a new nickname! Go Sentinels! Well done, board of education and all who worked for a very long time to bring this positive change to our community.

The final push! Friends, it'd be REALLY GREAT if we could have folks show up for these next few MAPS school board meetings. The crowds have been sparse. The board is heading toward the final push to craft a new name -- please show up to show your support. Next meeting is TOMORROW (Monday, 10/16) at 5:30 pm at the MSHS library. No agenda posted yet. After that it's Monday, November 6th for a "Committee of the Whole" meeting to talk about the nickname process. Friends! We're really hopeful that soon we'll be able to change this page's name. TONIGHT (Monday, 10/2) at 5:30 pm at MSHS, the MAPS Board of Education will have its first "Committee of the Whole" meeting, which will include interesting and important news about enrollment as well as a discussion of the rebranding/re-naming process. All are welcome to attend and support the board in this important work!
