Kelsey Gross's book, Fall: A Seasons Story StoryWalk is up for the community to enjoy!

It is currently located adjacent to the nature center, goes along the edge of the woods, behind the Senior Pavilion and then loops to the left and back to the nature center again.

With last week's high winds we needed a location that was more sheltered and allowed us to support the signs better.

Hopefully this weekend we'll see the sun and it will be a nice Fall weather weekend. Enjoy! And drop us a message if you enjoyed the walk.

Great weekend for programs at MooseWood this past weekend. Here are a few pics from the book reading by Kelsey Gross and the Storywalk.

Due to the high winds in the last few days, the StoryWalk was set up adjacent to the building, following along the edge of the woods, behind the Senior pavilion and then turning left looping back to the MooseWood building.

The Storywalk is for all to enjoy!

Who's ready for some fun this weekend?

Not only is the weather gorgeous but we have some great programs lined up starting with Make a Shiitake Mushroom Log today. Drop in anytime from Noon to 3:00pm.

On Sunday, U.P. author, Kelsey Gross will read her book, Fall: A Seasons Story, followed by crafts and activities. A StoryWalk of her book will be available following the program and will be open to the public. The temporary StoryWalk will be located in the Presque Isle bog. It will be up for as long as possible depending on the weather.

Sneak peak of the upcoming Storybook Walk on October 11th featuring the book, Fall A Season's Story by U.P. author, Kelsey Gross beginning at 2:00pm.

With the help of a generous donor we were able to purchase temporary signage for the walk and your donations today will be matched up to a maximum of $100!

When you give $5 it becomes $10, $25 becomes $50!

Your support will allow us to offer an additional Storybook Walk for the Summer of 2027 featuring another great storybook.

Dr. Jill Leonard will give an update on the Blue Spotted Salamander at 6:00 pm this Tuesday evening at the Peter White Public Library, followed by a Members meeting at 7:00. Join us in the community room.
