It is hard to believe that the 3rd Annual Upper Peninsula Cybersecurity Symposium hosted at Northern Michigan University is five short days away! We have a great line-up of speakers and topics, and the event team can't wait to kick things off. I would like to take a moment to recognize the symposium's sponsors. Without their commitment, time, and talent, the symposium would not be possible. The full agenda and speaker lineup can be viewed at:

Unfortunately, the symposium is at capacity. If you didn't get a chance to register, we hope to see you next year.

Had a great time representing the NMU College of Business at the Northern Michigan University Majors Fair. We partnered with Northcross Group, one of our local Cybersecurity industry partners to discuss the Information Assurance / Cyber Defense program and the numerous internship and employment opportunities Northcross Group offers prospective students. Big thanks to NCG's Liam Goetz for his collaboration.

NMU Cyber and the UPCI will be hosting another 2-week residential youth camp focused on Cybersecurity! We are in the process of hiring camp counselors and are looking for individuals who are outgoing and have an interest in working with high school students. This is a paid position that includes room and board. Two other residential youth camps follow GenCyber so you can also apply for all three and have employment from June 16th through July 27th. This is a great way to share your interest in cybersecurity and add experience to your resume. In addition, we have fun adventure events and gatherings planned outside of the classroom each day! All majors will be considered, experience in cybersecurity is not a requirement.
You can apply on Handshake by going to "myNMU" and clicking on "Handshake". Search for "Residential Youth Camp Counselor" and all the camp counselor job postings will be displayed.
