I don't know about you, but a lot of us grew up reading Bear Snores On by Karma Wilson, today our little ones are reading the magical tales of Frozen! 📖❤️

This week we celebrated Read Across America week with a school wide book fair! Read Across America was created in 1998? Its goal is to encourage children and teens to read and to celebrate the joy of reading, especially on Dr. Seuss's birthday, March 2nd. 📚🎉

Here’s a peek at our infants hanging around this week, all dressed up in their green for St. Patrick’s Day! From cozy cuddles to playful moments, we’re celebrating the season of luck with these little cuties. 🍀

Fun Fact: Did you know St. Patrick wasn’t even Irish? He was born in Roman Britain and later brought Christianity to Ireland, becoming the country’s patron saint. 🌍 How’s that for a bit of history with your shamrocks?

Architects start somewhere, right?! 🏠

Our PreK friends had a blast using popsicle sticks and glue bottles to create their very own houses during their creative curriculum activity!

Who knows? These little builders might just be architects in the making! 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️

Activities like this encourage critical thinking, fine motor skills, and teamwork as they work together to bring their ideas to life. 🔨

We had a magical day with special guest Chef KCC from Currier's Magic! 🧑‍🍳

Chef KCC brought the kitchen to life with his fun, interactive show all about kitchen safety—with a magical twist! 🔮

In this 45-minute comedy and variety show, Chef KCC wowed us by magically producing eggs, tomatoes, and even levitating lettuce! 🥬 From juggling kitchen utensils to making milk and cookies vanish (👀!)

The kids had an unforgettable time learning the secrets, skills, and safety of cooking in the most entertaining way possible! 🍪✨

A HUGE thank you to Chef KCC for making this day so special! 🙌👨‍🍳

This Week in PreK at Under the Sun Learning Center in New Jersey! 🌟

Our little ones got to experience the world of commerce in the most fun way possible — by running their very own in-house grocery store! 🛒🍏

Through the Creative Curriculum, these future entrepreneurs learned all about teamwork, roles, and the joy of imaginative play while exploring math, communication, and social skills.

Three of our PreK stars—one playing the role of the store baker and the other as a customer—put their creative minds to work in their very own grocery store, whilst another pretends to grocery shop, picking out fresh fruit with a big smile! 🍎🍌

Learning through play is at the heart of everything we do at Under the Sun Learning Center, and we couldn’t be more proud to watch these young learners build confidence and essential life skills every day! 💡
