Arwen is doing so well with Josie after so much time off! 🥰. It’s wonderful to raise young horses with such great minds! Arwen is only a 3 y/o and has been put on the back burner due to our hectic schedule… but Josie decided it was time for her to go back to work and she picked right up where she left off! It was even her first time in an English saddle!

Today’s highlight: Arwen got to go out today after a stall rest break for her allergic reaction to goodness only knows what... probably the fact that I said I was going to ride her. Vegas was super happy to have her bestie back with her, but let it slip that she was, in fact, not lame anymore.... she probably never really was and was only faking it because she prefers pampering, massages, and snacks to actual work.

🍂 COOLER TEMPS + DRESSAGE OVER POLES = THE PERFECT FALL WEEKEND! 🐴

Lauren Fisher is making her way back to Oklahoma for another Dressage Over Poles Clinic at LNJ Ranch, October 17–18!

The temperatures have finally cooled off, and we’re excited to welcome Lauren back for another weekend of quality education and individualized instruction. And remember—you don’t have to be a traditional dressage rider to benefit from this clinic!

Whether you ride Classical Dressage, Western Dressage, Hunters/Jumpers, Eventing, or even Barrel Racing, Lauren’s instruction can help improve your horse’s balance, rhythm, suppleness, responsiveness, body control, and overall quality of movement. Pole work adds another dimension that keeps horses engaged while giving riders immediate feedback on their timing and effectiveness.

Pete is working hard at his new career as riding instructor since relocating from Fort Sill after his position was eliminated. His first performance appraisal is pending….

Just a relaxing ride after a long day at work…

POV: Your horse has the tail everyone dreams about… until it’s time to keep it clean. 😂🐴

Larry’s tail is LONG. It’s THICK. It’s glorious. ✨
And it is an absolute full-time job. 🤦‍♀️🧼

The struggle is real when your handsome gray boy insists on dragging approximately 47 pounds of tail through every questionable substance he can find. 😂

But would I trade it? Absolutely not. 💙
