Lifelong Learning Center - IU29 At Lifelong Learning Center, we offer supportive programs that help you build skills, grow confidently, and move toward the future you want.

The Schuylkill Intermediate Unit’s Lifelong Learning Center offers community-centered programs created to help you get to where you want to be. Taking the first step can sometimes be the hardest part. With many options for learners at all levels, we provide programs that will meet you where you are. Our services are at no cost to you, so you need only make the commitment to yourself. We will be here to help you achieve your goals as you continue your lifelong learning journey.

Lehigh Carbon Community College Tamaqua is hosting College & Career Day for high school juniors and seniors on Friday, November 20, from 9 AM to 1:30 PM at the LCCC Morgan Center.

Students will have the opportunity to tour the Morgan Center, explore a variety of areas of interest, network with local business representatives, and learn more about workforce training opportunities and the college application process.

It’s a great opportunity to explore your options, make connections, and get a closer look at what LCCC has to offer. Interested in attending? Speak with your guidance counselor or call the Morgan Center at 570-668-6880 for more information!

Our community partner, Geisinger St. Luke’s Breast Center, is hosting Mammograms & More: A Celebration of Women’s Health and Wellness on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, from 4:30–6:30 PM in Orwigsburg. The free event includes healthy snacks, wellness activities, mini spa services, blood pressure checks, opportunities to schedule future mammograms, and more. Registration is required, and space is limited.
