🎉 BIG NEWS from Marlin ISD! 🎉
We are incredibly proud to announce that Marlin ISD students have achieved remarkable academic growth on the 2025 STAAR/EOC assessments, significantly outpacing state growth averages!
Despite a challenging year with 15 days of missed instructional time due to citywide water outages, our students and teachers have shown incredible resilience and hard work.
Here's why we're celebrating:
Marlin ISD surpassed the state growth average in 13 out of 20 STAAR/EOC assessments!
Our total change in "Meets" grade level was 63, which is an astounding 2.6 times the state's growth (the state's total change was 24)!
This success is a testament to the academic foundation laid under the leadership of our Board, Superintendent, and Teacher-Leaders and the unwavering commitment of our entire Marlin ISD family. We are preparing our students for future academic rigor and couldn't be prouder of their achievements!
