We are very appreciative to have a school district that is supportive of music education here at Marlette! We received our brand new band chairs this week that are ready to be used this school year by over 100 students that are enrolled in band this year. Thank you Marlette and Go Red Raiders!

That a wrap on our 2026 band camp!🎶 The Red Raider Marching Band worked extremely hard in the summer heat all week putting together our 4 tunes with drill for halftime. Thank you to all family and friends who attended our students preview show on Friday to celebrate the end of the week! We hope to see you at our first football game performance, Friday, August 28th. Go Red Raiders!

New Marcher Day was a success! The students picked up marching basics quickly and learned to read drill in only 10 minutes. They worked hard and did an amazing job for their first day. Thank you, section leaders, for all of your help today with music and leadership duties. Two days left until band camp! Go Red Raiders!

This week has been a wonderful start to our 2026 season! Our colorguard and Drumline have been working hard all week to prepare for the season. T - 11 days until band camp!

Last week, our head drum major Daniela Perna and assistant drum major Caleb King spent the week on the campus of Central Michigan University for their annual summer music camp. This camp is specifically for high school drum majors, color guard members, and drum line members to gain insight on leadership, fine tune technique, and develop their skills for the upcoming season. Way to go Daniela and Caleb! Go Red Raiders!

Next week kicks off our 2026 marching season with our Drumline and Color Guard Camp!

DL + Guard camp will take place at the high school, July 27th-31st from 8am-12pm each day. Students will be working with their hired instructors and begin prepping for band camp. This camp is mandatory for all drum line and color guard members.

The Marlette Bands and Choirs had a blast today at Bavarian Blast Waterpark for our end of the year trip! Thank you to the Bavarian Inn for once again having our 70 person group to enjoy the day and for taking excellent care of us!
