On Friday, we hosted our annual Unified Game Day, a district-wide event celebrating inclusion and teamwork, at Marlborough High School. Students with disabilities and their unified partners tested their skills in various games and activities, including shot put and long jump.
From running events to cheering on our unified athletes, we loved seeing our volunteers and staff in action. Because of you, our students, with and without disabilities, showed us how to and took home not only medals but also priceless memories.

All these events culminate in a significant milestone for our seniors: graduation. We look forward to celebrating the remarkable Class of 2026 alongside our dedicated staff, faculty and families โ whose steadfast support has guided them to this remarkable achievement โ at our graduation ceremony on Sunday, June 7 at 10 a.m. at Noble Field.

On May 29, Jaworek Elementary School proudly hosted its inaugural Inclusion Fair, where fifth grade students had the opportunity to learn about disabilities and the tools that support individuals with disabilities. From walking on crutches to navigating hallways in wheelchairs to learning sign language, our students gained invaluable insights through hands-on experience.
We are immensely proud of the Jaworek School and our district-wide special education staff and faculty members for their commitment to creating and hosting events that foster a unified district. Their dedication to embracing, celebrating and uplifting all students, both with and without disabilities, is truly inspiring!

Whitcomb Middle School held its first-ever Civics Students Showcase on May 22, and it was a truly impactful event.
Our eighth grade students impressed everyone with their passion and the preparation they put into their projects. They covered important topics that affect their peers and our community, such as substance use in adolescence, school start times and religious freedom. Our sixth and seventh graders also contributed significantly by asking insightful questions and demonstrating active listening skills.
We commend our civics team, Jacquie Carter and Caroline Cadel, for making this inaugural event a success. Their dedication is helping to prepare our students to become engaged and responsible members of our community.
