Our new Chair of the Science Department brings more than 20 years of experience in science education, research, and STEM programming to NEIA. 🔬

🎓 Ph.D. in Molecular Biology & Biotechnology from Virginia Tech
🌱 M.S. in Plant Genetics & Tissue Culture from The Ohio State University
🧪 20+ years in science education & research
👨‍🏫 Former faculty at Loomis Chaffee
🔬 Research experience at Nationwide Children’s Hospital & University of North Texas
🧬 Expertise in Genetics, Cell Biology & Molecular Biology
🏆 Mentored students in research, science competitions & independent projects
📚 Guided students toward peer-reviewed academic publications

Our World Languages Department Chair and Mandarin Teacher. She has two decades of experience in world language education, curriculum development, and connection to diverse cultures. 🏮🌏

🎓 M.Ed. in Childhood Education from New York University
📚 20 years of Mandarin teaching experience
🏫 Former Mandarin teacher at Westborough Public Schools, teaching Levels 1–5 & AP
👩‍🏫 Mount Holyoke College adjunct faculty & practicum supervisor
🏮 Founder of the Chinese-American Association of North-Southboro

Our new Chair of Mathematics is bringing a fascinating mix of math, data science, neuroscience, and real-world problem solving to NEIA. 🧮🧠💡
