New to Jewish Day School? Your Child Will Fit Right In. 🎨
At Reich Hebrew Academy, every student is given the opportunity to explore, create, and grow in a warm and supportive environment.
In Grade 3, under the guidance of Ms. Stasia Banker, students learned a watercolor technique called wet-on-wet, applying water first and then adding paint to create soft, blended effects. They used this technique to design stunning landscape scenes, carefully building depth by distinguishing the foreground, middle ground, and background. To complete their work, students incorporated a collage method to bring all the elements together.
The results were truly amazing—and a beautiful reflection of what happens when creativity is nurtured and every child feels confident to try something new.

Our 7th and 8th-grade scientists took physics to the next level today! Under the guidance of Mrs. Marnie Jones, turned the science lab into a high-speed testing ground for Balloon Rockets.
The mission? To see how volume impacts velocity and force. By comparing 9-inch and 12-inch balloons, students put Newton’s Laws of Motion to the ultimate test.
It wasn’t just science—it was a race to the finish line! Great job to our future engineers for collecting data, analyzing variables, and (mostly) keeping the balloons on the string!

Today we celebrated a very special milestone—Kitah Alef (1st Grade) receiving their personalized Siddurim!
Under the amazing guidance of Morah Nurit and Morah Rachel, the students shared a beautiful presentation demonstrating what they have already learned from their siddurim. It was truly inspiring to see their excitement and pride as they begin this meaningful step in their Jewish learning journey.
We look forward to watching them continue to learn, grow, and deepen their connection to tefillah and Jewish tradition in the years ahead. Mazal Tov to our wonderful first graders!
