We are so excited to have Natalie Sterling as our Guest Judge for our Self Choreography Competition tonight!💫

Originally from Arizona, based in New York, Natalie has been featured in Dance Spirit Magazine and was recently a guest on the Kelly Clarkson show for her viral dance videos. She is also currently touring the country with NRG Dance Project as their Pro Assistant! Natalie not only trained professionally in all styles for 16+ years but also has vocal training, acting and teaching expertise.💃

1. How did you start dancing?
Doing Latin tech with Natasha

2. What’s your favorite memory from dance?
Going to Paris with all the girls and visiting Disney

3. What is the best takeaway life lesson?
Confidence and collaborating with a team

4. What are your future plans?
Studying accounting and finance and the university of Miami!!!!

🎓SENIOR SPOTLIGHT 2026🎓

1. How did you start dancing?
I started taking dance classes at genius kids. After I left genius kids, my mom signed me up for a class with Kristina at the Allied Champions. Everything else is history.

2. What’s your favorite memory from dance?
Going to my first competition, BTS was a very distinct memory. This wasn’t any ordinary competition, as it was during COVID and we had to wear masks on stage. Natasha found sparkly green masks matching to our costume. It was definitely an unforgettable experience.

3. What is the best takeaway life lesson?
When I first started dance, I had stage fright. My first summer show I ended up sitting on my mom’s lap in the audience wearing the costume. I finally made it onto the stage at 4yrs and never looked back. I learned that you have to face your fears head on.

4. What are your future plans?
Im starting TCNJ in the fall and am majoring in psychology with a goal to become a School Psychologist. I love working with kids and would love to continue to.
