JTeen Club celebrated a year of volunteering and great Jewish Unity with Sushi and Ice Cream. A gift of a Mezuzah was given to all of our graduating seniors that are heading off to college in the fall to place on their dorm rooms.

In honor of the holiday of Shavuos, the Women's Circle created floral arrangements and enjoyed Wine & Sushi.

The students from the Chaya Esther Hebrew School beamed with pride at the end of year ceremony, as they each received an Achievement Certificate. Each class shared a small performance with the audience to highlight what they had learned in their Jewish studies over the course of the year. The proud parents and family members were delighted to see their Jewish legacy being passed on to the next generation.

Our Jteen Club gathered to celebrate and enjoyed a delectable BBQ and Marshmallow toasting and smores!

CJL held its Sixth Annual CJL Kid’s Business Fair on Sunday, May 10! Young entrepreneurs had the opportunity to create a product or service and open for customers at our one-day marketplace! There were 3 booth winners at the business competition for the most original business idea, most gross sales and best presentation/creativity.

The Bat Mitzvah Club program held a Graduation Ceremony on Sunday, May 10th, for 15 girls after completing their studies on the role and value that Judaism affords the Jewish woman. The girls each presented a speech about what Bat Mitzvah means to them and received a personalized silver candlestick to light each Friday night.

An amazing sense of Jewish pride and identity was felt and expressed at a Shabbat Dinner exclusively for teens ages 13 – 18 this past Friday night. Close to 200 Jewish teens enjoyed a lavish Shabbat dinner and experienced Shabbat with candle lighting, Kiddush, Challah, traditional Shabbat songs, delicious food including matzah ball soup, sushi and dessert Viennese!
