She is also a past Educational Director for the Orange County Music Educators’ Association. Megan has experience conducting All-District Elementary Jazz Band and Middle School Jazz Band and has served as the color guard director for Hauppauge High School’s marching band. Megan is an active performer in the Hudson Valley, playing horn with groups including the New York Wind Symphony, Northern Dutchess Symphony Orchestra, and SUNY Ulster Community Band. She has also been invited to guest conduct the Suny Ulster Community Band, as well as the Orange County Music Educators’ Association Elementary All-County Band and Suffolk County Music Educators’ Association Elementary All-County Band. Outside of teaching, performing, and conducting, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband and two young daughters. She is looking forward to making music with her students at Marlboro Elementary School and meeting everyone in the school community!
