Can you send out to your 8th grade parent group a reminder that 8th grade promotion will begin at 10:30 due to the early out that day? After promotion, parents can sign out their student and any MS siblings.

8th Grade Promotion Celebration

Friday June 2, 2023

Immediately following the ceremony at Dodge Memorial Park ( asp known as County Park) next to Terrace Shores

* Google Doc was sent out asking families # of family members attending and also to bring a dish to pass

* Invote to administration, Middle school teachers and Explo teachers will be send this week

*Jahnke and Heberer are doing meat and buns

* DJ - Josh Jenkins in charge

* Bag Boards ( please comment if your bringing them)

* 50/50 Raffle- Jennifer Decker is in charge- what we wanted to do was the winner would obviously take 1/2 but the other half would go into the class of 2027 account to start their class fund for high school

* Table Coverings -Renee Vandestreek

* Baskets - ReneeVandestreek
( Renee would you like help to gather some local gifts) what I thought we would do is just have all kids who come fill out a raffle ticket and we pick names at the end..not everyone will be getting a gift ( I’m sorry it’s just life) but I think this way it would be fun to do! I got stuff out to water parks ski resorts etc! Any help on this would be appreciated but it’s ok whatever we get we get!

I think this is it..I want it simple and I want the kids to just have fun together! There is a huge beach, volleyball, bags, DJ so I feel this is enough!
