Averee Gilleylen is working toward a nursing degree and completing the prerequisite courses for her program. With a strong passion for making a difference in healthcare, she aims to become either a nurse or a physical therapy assistant. Beyond her academic commitments, Averee is actively involved in various community initiatives on campus, demonstrating her dedication to service and leadership. She proudly serves as a Student Ambassador with the ASUN Blue Coats and is also a member of the Student Advisory Team and the ASU System Student Leadership Program. Her positive attitude and genuine character contribute significantly to a supportive campus environment.

Congratulations to Dr. Allen Mooneyhan, ASU-Newport’s Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management, on bringing home gold for Arkansas in the pole vault at the Senior Olympics!

His brother Andy earned pole-vault gold for Tennessee, and both are headed to the National Senior Olympics!
