Our Journey
A few years ago after a serious car accident I decided it was important for myself and my family that I stay home and be with my daughter full time. I didn’t want to miss out on her childhood or to miss out on seeing her grow up! To make this work I decided to open my own childcare. Once I got up and going I realized that this was the best job I had ever had and that I loved it so much! My husband and I talked about what I would do when my daughter was old enough to go to Preschool, would I continue doing full day childcare, return to work, or something else? Since I felt so passionate about childcare and education I decided to return to college and finish my degree. I returned to The Ohio State University of Marion to complete my degree in Early Childhood Education. I am proud to say that I am almost finished! When possible I still love to do daycare. I am passionate about teaching children through play, letting them explore outside and get dirty, and teaching them to love learning new things!
