A great day at McCullough Middle School Career Fair talking about what it’s like being a Music Therapist

As both a NICU Music Therapist and a NICU mom, I have personally experienced the benefit that music therapy provides to the smallest of patients and their families. Research points to music therapy providing improvement with physiological stability, feeding and weight gain, neurodevelopment and brain connectivity, behavioral organization and sleep, pain and stress response, and parent infant bonding. Yes, music is pretty and it is relaxing but its benefits go far deeper.

Congratulations to our 2026 Music Therapy Graduates! We are so proud of you!
