NEW PLANTS FOR HARVEST
This week in STEM, students planted radishes, romaine lettuce, sunflowers, basil, and spicy salad mix after learning about hydroponics. They also began planting seeds for cabbage, turnips, broccoli, and collards for the greenhouse this fall and winter.

Serving up fresh reading skills today at the 2nd Grade Starbooks Cafe!

Ms. McNeil's class learned all about text features and how using them helps them ask and answer questions as they read. Plus, they practiced going back into the text to find proof because good readers always check their orders!

Watching these 2nd graders become confident, independent readers is the best perk of all.
