MJHS staff doesn’t just work school-day hours! ❤️💙 You can also find our dedicated staff members after the bell—meeting, collaborating, reflecting, and planning for an even better school year.

Today, Mrs. Jennifer Snyder visited Marion Junior High School to speak with Mr. Jefferson’s Career Development class about the future and opportunities within the Marion School District.

Mrs. Snyder introduced students to available career pathways and provided an overview of programs and opportunities they can expect as they continue their educational journey through the district. The visit gave students an opportunity to begin thinking beyond junior high and understand how the choices they make today can help prepare them for high school, college, careers, and beyond.

S.T.A.R. = Students Take A Role

STAR Council, a part of the Orpheum Theatre group, offers any Memphis-area high school student the opportunity to "take a role" in their community, at the Orpheum, and in their theatrical future by learning and volunteering. The program allows students to explore the intersection of theatre and community service, all while developing valuable skills and connecting with their peers.
