The Marion Public library has so much to offer adults and kids. Today, Youth Services Librarians, Danielle Tanner and Danielle Underhill, highlighted some of the recent youth programs and upcoming events/programs for young people. The list was extensive from Vex Robotics to Dinosaur Digs to Adventure Authors to Story times to a Teen Escape Room and so much more! Thank you for sharing! What an amazing resource for Marion!

The Marion Noon Kiwanis Annual Ice Bath Challenge during Downtown Marion’s Third Thursday and Online Auction was a huge success! So much fun and so many people/groups to thank! We give special thanks to Denton-Prater Chiropractic and Natural Health and Pure Function CrossFit for providing the location and coordination of Ice Bath Challenge and thank them for their support of the auction. Their partnership with us makes this event possible and allows us to continue investing in the children and families of Marion County.
We are also thank Marion Technical College for all of their work on setting up the online auction!
We thank everyone who supported the event by bidding and donating. Thank you to WZMO for covering our event.

Thank you to all of the Ice Bath Challengers who each hit the 5 minute time and raised funds—total to be announced. We also received a generous match to funds raised. We will have a total for the combined events soon!

Kiwanis—along with the Marion Area Convention and Visitors Bureau and Marion County Historical Society—is proud to be part of the team that brought the “Capture the Moment” History Dinner back as an anchor event for America250-Marion! Funded by a Marion Community Foundation grant, it was an evening filled with positivity and energy. Special thanks to our wonderful presenters, emcee Dean Jacob, Videographer John Mullins, the event committee, an awesome audience and all those involved. Marion is a GREAT place to live!
