Calling all future volleyball stars! 🏐

PREXY Youth Athletics and Activities (PYAA) Volleyball registration is now open for MCS girls in grades 3–6! Players will build their skills, learn the fundamentals and enjoy some friendly competition with fellow Prexies.

Calling all future President cheerleaders! 📣

HHS Little Cheer is back! Participants will join the HHS cheerleaders for a clinic on Tuesday, September 8, before taking the field to cheer during the first quarter of the Friday, September 11, football game. ❤️🖤

Registration is open now through September 1. Be sure to complete both registration and payment by the deadline. No late registrations will be accepted.

• August 19: First day for Kindergarten Last Name A-M, & Grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9
• August 20: Kindergarten Last Name N-Z, & Grades 1-12
• August 21: First full day for all kindergarten students

🍎 Marion City Schools Summer Food Program 2026 🍎

Every Thursday from June 4 to August 6, kids 18 and younger can receive a FREE 7-day meal bag!

📍 Pick-up Locations:
• Grant Middle School
• George Washington Elementary
• Taft Elementary
• Hayes Elementary
• Garfield Elementary

🕛 Pick-up Time: 12:00 – 1:30 p.m.

Limit one bag per child
You do NOT need to be an MCS student to participate
Open to ALL kids 18 and younger

A new chapter for Prexy football starts now.

For the first time, Marion City Schools and PREXY Youth Athletics & Activities (PYAA) are launching a 6th-grade tackle football program for current 5th-grade students, creating a direct pathway into the Harding football tradition.

Led in partnership with Harding Head Football Coach and former Prexy quarterback CJ Westler, this new program is designed to give young athletes a safe, structured, and positive football experience while building pride in the red and black from the very beginning.

This new opportunity includes:
🏈 New uniforms and equipment
🏈 Certified equipment fittings through Riddell Sports
🏈 Coaches committed to student growth on and off the field
🏈 A focus on fundamentals, discipline, respect, and teamwork

Teams will compete in the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference Youth Football League (MOACYFL) against programs from across North Central Ohio.

📍 Walk-up registration and the first equipment fitting will take place on May 28 at the Fitness Center on the Grant Middle School campus.
📅 Season runs from mid-July through October
🏈 Seven-game Season expected
💲 Registration cost: $50
