George's Jungle Child Care Philosophy:
As a family child care provider, my goal is to provide a safe and happy place where all children are given the encouragement, opportunity and freedom to be the best they can be as individuals. I will provide care that will insure that a child's self worth and self-esteem are enhanced. My goal shall include mental, social, physical and emotional development a
s well as cognitive learning, all at the child's own pace. All children will be taught to respect each other, adults, animals and property. Our Goal: The Primary goal of my childcare program is to provide a loving, safe, and stimulating environment for every child, while parents are working. I will strive to work closely with each parent becoming PARTNERS in the guiding of each child here. Preschool Program: Our program was developed to provide a structured setting but also designed that the structure of the program is almost invisible to children so not to limit the children from being able to show personality. Being their first foundation for learning, both socially and academically we promote individual social and emotional development while learning to compromise, respect others and problem solve. We promote learning through play and focus on using our imaginations, while preparing children for Kindergarten. We have received national Accreditation though NAFCC and maintain Indiana's highest ranking of Level 4 in the State Paths To Quality Program. We also maintain an outdoor certification for our outdoor learning environment.
