Since 1842, Marion Military Institute (in West Alabama) has been educating young leaders on its campus. We are a public, two-year junior college awarding associate degrees and accredited by SACS. Our one-year Service Academy Program caters to students seeking transfer to one of the five U.S. Service Academies (West Point, Naval, Air Force, Coast Guard, Merchant Marine). Air Force ROTC & Marine Corps PLC are additional military offer paths from MMI. Providing a character development curriculum, the Leadership Education Program has NO military obligation. Welcome to the MMI Tiger Family, Madison Brown!! Madison, who comes to us from Broomfield, Colorado attended high school at Penn Foster High School in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Madison will be a part of our Service Academy Program where she will have her sights set on obtaining an appointment to the Naval Academy following her time at MMI. Madison will add depth to our Cross Country program in the fall and Mid-Distance/Distance crew on the track in the spring! Welcome, Madison!!
