πŸ‘‘ Learning in Action πŸ‘‘
Today our Tot's got creative with Dot Painting Fun! Using cotton swabs and Q-tips, they dipped into paint and carefully dotted along the letters of their own names β€” building fine motor control, hand-eye coordination, and early letter recognition.
This simple activity packs a big punch: strengthening the pincer grasp needed for writing, plus reinforcing name recognition
Parent Tip: Save your egg cartons! They make the perfect no-mess paint palette β€” each little cup holds a different color, they're easy for small hands to reach into, and when you're done, just toss the whole thing. No cups to wash, no spills to chase!
So many focused faces and proud smiles today β€” we love watching our Tot's grow one dot at a time!

The Kiddos played their own version of Jenga! Taking turns, each child carefully placed a craft stick on top of the cup and whoever knocked the tower down was out. A steady hand and a whole lot of laughs were required!

There's something extra special about toys that carry history. These Groovy Girls belonged to my own kiddos, and now they're part of a new story!
It was a full village of imagination today! Beds made, outfits changed, and stories told all across the rug. πŸ’•

Learning in Action
Today the Tot's played a classic circle game β€” Hot Potato! πŸ₯”
While it looks like simple silly fun, so much learning is happening here: Listening Skills – practice listening closely for the music to stop, building auditory attention and focus.
Turn-Taking & Impulse Control – Passing the potato quickly (without holding on too long!) teaches patience, self-regulation, and fair play.
Fine Motor Skills – Grasping and handing off the potato builds hand strength and coordination.
Social-Emotional Growth – Sitting in a circle together, cheering each other on, and handling the excitement of "being out" (or staying in!) builds resilience and community bonding.
Group Cooperation – Everyone has a role in keeping the game going β€” a great early lesson in teamwork!
Simple games like this are packed with big developmental benefits.
