Coming up March 3! Don't miss this chance to hear from a brilliant writer.

Our next visiting writer has some strong opinions about what we all like to watch. Don't miss Pulitzer Prize winning TV critic Emily Nussbaum when she takes the stage at Butler's Shelton Auditorium on March 3 @ 7:30PM. Perhaps you'll find out if she still considers "The Wire" the best show in the history of television!

As always, Visiting Writers Series events are free to the public and do not require a ticket. Parking is available onsite and is also free. Please, don't forget that we do require that you wear a face mask.

Please update your VWS calendars! Next week's scheduled reading by award-winning novelist & story writer Percival Everett has been pushed back two months. He will now be visiting Butler on Tuesday, March 15 @ 7:30PM at Shelton Auditorium.

Writers and readers! Our next Butler field trip will be to see Hanif Abdurraqib on Dec 2. Check out the article on him below. You can find his poems and his bio at Poets.org.

He is a National Book Award finalist for “A Little Devil in America,” but he has more books to write, more projects to take on and more s’mores to research.
