Students attend Tuesday only and do NOT come Monday.

Staggered entry allows our teachers to welcome students in smaller groups and help them get comfortable with classroom routines and their new school!

We cannot say **THANK YOU** enough to our incredible custodial team and community volunteers for all of the hard work, dedication, and love they have poured into our school throughout the summer!

From the early mornings to the long days, Mr. Alan and Mr. Evan have worked tirelessly to make sure our school is welcoming, safe, and absolutely beautiful for our students and staff!

So much of what they do happens behind the scenes, but their impact is seen and felt throughout every hallway, classroom, and corner of our school. They have truly gone above and beyond to prepare Pleasant Gardens Elementary for a wonderful new school year! 🥰🏫✨

🎉 Exciting News from Pleasant Gardens Elementary! 🎉

We have some exciting news to share with our Pleasant Gardens Elementary family!

First, we want to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Rodney Wheeler on his well-deserved promotion to Director of Transportation for McDowell County Schools! 🥳 Mr. Wheeler's leadership, dedication, and commitment to our students, staff, and families have made a lasting impact on our school community. We wish him continued success in his new role!

At the same time, we are excited to welcome Mrs. Robinson as the new principal of Pleasant Gardens Elementary! 🌟 Mrs. Robinson brings a heart for students, a passion for building meaningful relationships, a commitment to academic excellence, and a belief that every child can succeed. She is honored to continue to serve the Pleasant Gardens community and is looking forward to an amazing school year filled with growth, learning, and opportunities for every student.
