Marion Baptist Child Development Program We serve children 2 months thru 5 years old You will have 24 hours to respond before we will move onto the next person on the list.

MBCDP Waiting List Policy


Open spots in the program will first be filled according to the date when the director was notified. Exceptions will be made in the following order:

1) If the parent of the child applying is a new hire of MBCDP, or Marion Baptist Church

2) If the child applying is a sibling of a current student of MBCDP


If you are next on the waiting list, you will be contacted. If

your child is not yet old enough for the spot that is available, you may pay weekly tuition to hold the spot until your child is of age, or it will be forfeited to the next person. You will still be next to be contacted when another spot becomes available. Mandatory paperwork is required to begin attendance in our program, and if not received in a timely manner, your spot may be forfeited. We do not accept faxed or emailed paperwork.

Today my heart is full yet very tender, as I step into a bittersweet moment.
After 33½ years at Marion Baptist Child Development Program including 21 years serving as Director, I am stepping away from my full-time role. ( Semi Retirement )
This place has been more than a job—it has been a calling, a ministry, and a family. I am forever grateful for the children whose lives touched mine, the families who trusted us, and the staff who walked this journey beside me.
Though I am closing one chapter, I am thankful to continue serving part-time as an administrator/financial manager working remotely. Most of all, I trust that God is still writing my story.

As Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

And I hold tightly to my favorite verse, Proverbs 3:5–6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”

I step forward with gratitude for the past, peace in the present, and faith for all that God has ahead. ♥️🙏
