We are a tuition-free, public charter school serving students in grades EK-9 throughout Marion, OH. Our school is Cognia accredited and conveniently located on Mount Vernon Avenue. Marion Preparatory Academy’s rigorous academic program exceeds Ohio state standards to provide children a strong academic foundation and prepare students for college and career. We observe an extended school day and sch

Take a peek inside Ms. Els class! Our 4th & 5th grade students combined math and creativity during their Math Art class! As they continue learning about volume, students decorated and built their very own cubes. 🧊✨

They will take the next step by measuring their cubes and calculating their volume! This hands-on activity is helping students see how math can be creative, fun, and used in real-life learning.

Every school day matters! At the Academy of Arts & Technology, we want every student here, ready, and prepared to learn. Strong attendance helps students stay connected, build good habits, and continue making academic progress.

We’re also making attendance something to celebrate! Students will have opportunities to earn weekly recognition, monthly experiences, Most Improved Attendance awards, classroom challenges, special privileges, and more! 🎉

We know families sometimes face challenges. If transportation, health needs, or other circumstances are affecting your child’s attendance, please communicate with us. We are here to partner with you.

🐉 AAT DRAGONS: RIGHT CHOICES = REAL REWARDS! ⭐

We are excited to introduce our R.A.I.S.E. Merit & Dragon Dollar System at the Academy of Arts & Technology!

Students can earn Merits throughout the school day for making positive choices, showing leadership, working hard, helping others, staying on task, and demonstrating our R.A.I.S.E. expectations.

💰 3 Merits = $1 Dragon Dollar!

Students can save their Dragon Dollars and use them for school store items, special activities, fun experiences, and other rewards.

Our goal is simple: recognize the positive, teach better choices, and give every student an opportunity to grow.

🛍️ WE NEED OUR FAMILIES & COMMUNITY!
We are also building our Dragon Store! If you or your business would like to donate new items, prizes, gift cards, snacks, experiences, or other student incentives, we would LOVE your support.

Every donation helps us celebrate our students for doing the right thing and making positive choices.

What a great first full week at the Academy of Arts & Technology!

We are excited about the fresh start, the energy in our building, and everything we are building together this school year. A huge thank you to our teachers and staff for showing up each day ready to serve, teach, create, and lead our Dragons! ❤️

To our AAT families and friends, thank you for your continued support. As we keep building strong routines, please help us by:
