Kindness, celebration and a little friendly competition!

George Washington Elementary kicked off the year with its first PBIS assembly, recognizing students for showing kindness and making positive choices.

And no assembly is complete without a little fun! Teachers jumped into a Minute to Win It hula hoop challenge, bringing plenty of laughs and cheers from students.

What a great way to start another year of learning, growing and having fun together.

The students will perform music originally inspired by literature, bringing stories from the page to the stage through music, movement, and their own creative choices.
