Elgin’s two teams placed as follows at the district soils contest:
The Rural Ag Soils Team placed 1st out 26 teams qualifying for the state contest next Saturday, October 10. The top 4 members were Liam Kuba in 4th, Ava Moening in 5th, Jake Creviston, and Benton Temple

The Urban team placed 2nd out of 19 teams to qualify for state. The top 4 members were Stone Rhoades in 4th, Cooper Schlaegel, Jackson Rice, & Maycee Muselin. Congratulations to all the team members!

The district soils career development event is being held today in Clark county. Good luck to the 12 members competing!

Thankful the weather cooperated so our members could compete in the Upper Sandusky FFA Soil Invitational today! Results will be posted next week.

Elgin FFA members had the opportunity to attend the Ohio FFA Legislative Leadership Conference and learn more about leadership, agriculture, and the role our young people can play in shaping the future of Ohio agriculture! 💙💛

The Elgin FFA has been named a 3 Star Chapter in the USA. This is the highest designation that the National FFA can give to chapters. Great job to our members & community on a fantastic year!
