So happy you are enjoying this year's theme for the Children's Garden, A Garfield Trail Garden. We so appreciate your art work!

Thank you for writing only on the black chalkboards and not on the signs, flower petals, fences, and the beautiful walkway! It will keep the garden in good shape for years to come.
Also, thank you to all those visiting and helping to stock the Little Free Library. There are so many people enjoying the books.

What a difference a few weeks makes: sunshine, rain, maintenance by Master Gardeners, and faithful watering by Chris. Come out for a visit to the Children's Garden - "A Garfield Trail Garden" - in Matter Park. While there, try the Scavenger Hunt #1 in the Take One box. There will be a new Scavenger Hunt #2 this weekend. Don't forget to get a picture taken in the photo booth!

The planting is done, the mulch is down, the signage is up, new flower chalkboards are installed, and there is a scavenger hunt in the Take One box. We are ready for visitors! Thank you for staying on the paths and out of the planting beds as some of the plants are still quite young and fragile. Don't forget to get your picture taken at the photo booth and check out the Little Free Library. And, be sure to visit often to see how the plants grow and change. We hope you enjoy the garden as much as we enjoy bringing it to you!

SPRING IS HERE and the Little Free Library is back in the Children's Garden at Matter Park looking forward to visitors.
A big thanks to Mr. Mike, Friend of the Library, who refurbished it over the winter and reinstalled it for us. It looks great!
Remember "Take and Book Leave a Book" (if you can) will help keep the library stocked for others.
Plantings will begin appearing in May.

Currently the Children's Garden in Matter Park is cold, bare, and lonely. Be sure to visit us as spring arrives in late March when the Little Free Library will once again open. The garden will begin to come alive in late April to mid-May. The nearby Garfield Statue is our inspiration for this year's garden theme. Be sure to come see what it is!
