The Exploring Educational Professions class has been busy this week! Students hung name plate inserts for all of our teachers and refreshed the bulletin boards for the Social Studies Department. 📚

Yesterday, 15 McCulloch students took the field with the Marion High School Marching Band for Indiana State Fair Band Day, representing McCulloch Junior High and Marion Community Schools!

This is the largest group of McCulloch students we’ve ever had participate in Band Day. We love seeing our students take their talents beyond the classroom and around the state!

Way to go, Giants! We are so proud of you! 💜🎶💛

Mrs. Pace, our amazing Librarian, always has the best craft ideas! She repurposed door hangers for Back to School Night and invited parents and guardians to write their students a special note of “Locker Love.”

The notes were then hung on students’ lockers, giving them a little extra encouragement and a whole lot of love as they started their first day of school!

What a sweet way to remind our Giants that they are loved, supported and ready to take on a new school year! 💜💛

After reading The Day You Begin by Jacqueline Woodson, 8th graders in Ms. Richards English Language Arts classes participated in “The Story Behind Me” activity.
Students interviewed their classmates to discover shared interests, unique experiences, and things they may not have known about one another. It was a great reminder that taking the time to hear someone’s story can help us find connections in unexpected places!
