We have learned so much about Ancient Greece over the last several weeks. Today we took a virtual field trip to The Parthenon in Athens, Greece and imagined how it would feel to climb the Acropolis and tour the ruins. Students enjoyed dressing in togas as Greek citizens, gods and goddesses.

Happy Halloween from the 2nd Grade! Thank you to all who sent goodies for our trick or treating and party today! The students have had a great day! Congratulations to Ryleigh Williamson for winning the drug awareness coloring contest for 2nd Grade! We enjoyed working with Main Street Marion today to help w**d the flower beds at City Hall. The students also enjoyed replacing the w**ds with beautiful yellow and orange pansies. Community service is an integral part of our curriculum, and the students are looking forward to more opportunities like this!
