It's All in Your Head This is a page for those interested in Psychology and for those that are attending OSU at Marion. We also go on field trips and help in community projects.

The OSUM Psychology Club is an academic student organization open to anyone interested in becoming involved in activities relating to social science in everyday life. The Marion group has meetings at which speakers are invited to share ideas with members. The Psychology Club promotes school spirit by serving as needed. The organization has no formal prerequisites except to be interested in psychol

ogy and to be motivated to get involved. It is open to any student on campus. Students are encouraged to attend as many activities as possible, and contribute as much as they are able to the goals of the group.

General information

The Psychology Club needs students to help with the planning, coordinating, and carrying out the club activities. The executive committee consists of the 1) president, 2) vice-president, 3) secretary, and 4) members of the service, education, and publicity committees. The officers should be able to work well with other students, coordinate and participate in club activities, and be committed to the club objectives. The executive committee, along with other interested students, meet with the club faculty advisors to organize and plan activities. The President is the visible student figure, and communicates with other student organizations. He or she works with the education committee to increase awareness of psychology opportunities and organize and coordinate speakers and fieldtrips. The Vice-President stands in for the president whenever needed, and works with the service committee to organize and coordinate service projects and other activities. The Secretary also helps with these duties, and in addition is in charge of keeping club records of activities and members, and works with the publicity committee to publicize events.
