This page is dedicated to building community here at IWU in prayer towards God.

Basically, we believe prayer works. We believe that no one should be left to fight through life alone and because of that we want to stand with you in prayer. Our goal is to help bring a new community of prayer to campus by supplying a safe environment where anyone can receive prayer. In this community, the page is designed to be an anonymous announcement board; to speak out requests and struggles

without necessarily requiring anyone to show themselves to the world. If one would want more direct prayer or some personal encouragement, please message the page directly and we would be happy to help! Also, we are hoping others will continue to encourage and uplift each other here on the page so if you see a request that hits close to home or a struggle you can relate with, please feel free to post encouragement or loving remarks towards your fellow brother or sister. Sometimes a simple reply from a friend can make the world of difference. So please, feel free to post, placing the hope of Christ in others here on the page. This is a page for community on campus, not just the administers of a particular page. Thank you!

A lot of times, people think of prayer as the thing to do when everything goes wrong. Almost like praying is what to do when you are holding on to your last lifeline. Similarly, David here talks about crying out to God while he is under duress, seeking God's answer for David knows it will come. On the flip side though, David also implores the Lord to hear him because he knows God will give him the answer he needs. Maybe you AREN'T under stress right now; maybe your prayer needs to be for someone else who needs God's answer. Whatever the case, we are here to support you and pray with you as well! Take some time today and seek God's answer, whether it be for you or for those around you.

Hey there! Just a reminder that you matter to God. Sometimes, it doesn't feel like it. Some of you guys have probably experienced a moment where you felt like your prayer didn't even get to God but the truth is that every request, every petition, and even every thought is heard. Not just heard but cherished! So if you are waiting for prayers to be answered, hang in there. The answer and God's plan will be made clear!

Hey all. Sorry it's been so long since you heard from us here at the chapel. For today though, be encouraged that you are being prayed for. Life throws all sorts of curve balls and it is easy to forget sometimes that people care about you. You are cared for. You are loved. Every name on the page, every note written anonymously, and every person who seeks support is noticed here. If you guys need anything or just need to talk some stuff through, let's get in touch! Well honestly, got no takers on the photo op. But that's pretty understandable... finals are right around the corner and life is pretty hectic right now. We totally get that. Actually, that's what this post is about! Just letting you know we are praying for you during these last few weeks and want to encourage you to keep up the great work! We can do this guys; let's finish up strong! Praying for you and your studies (not to mention your sleep schedule too!).

Hello again all! It has been QUITE some time since a post has been given out and likewise, it has been quite a long time since we have heard from you all! We have been praying and seeking God for the campus and for you all as well! God is certainly moving all over campus and it is so awesome that his spirit is moving so many here. Let us know any requests you may have! Would love to here from you! God be with as you head into Spring Break!

Deaest IWU,
We haven't heard from you in a while. Hopefully the link to our prayer request page is working alright BUT if not, please let us know! We want to hear your requests and want to pray with you!

However, even though we haven't had anything specific for a while, we have still been praying over you! Hopefully the close of the semester is going smoothly for you all but either way, God is with us. It's his strength that will pull us through the next few days. (P.S. That means we WILL pull through the next few days. :D )

Anyway, let us know what is going on in your world! In the meantime, we shall be praying for you all the same. Thanks guys and may God be visible in your daily life!
